Roxy Aguirre: The Woman Who Can Conquer Anything
Starting as a model over 10 years ago, Roxy Aguirre has had an incredible journey in both her personal and professional life. She has discovered she is capable of achieving immense success in her career without having to sacrifice having a family or pursuing her passions, despite many obstacles like her mother’s cancer, or her son’s autism.
From a young age, Roxy was very interested in traveling and experiencing different cultures. She even spent a total of five years living abroad in several countries including England, Argentina, and Canada. She has also lived in New York and Hawaii. During her travels, Roxy has had countless extraordinary experiences that have shaped her into the person she is.
One of her favorite places to live was Hawaii, which was the first place she felt at home since leaving the place she grew up. Roxy looks back at this time with great joy as she learned to cherish culture and nature, as well as discovered other passions like surfing.
One story she remembers is a terrifying encounter with a shark. Roxy recalls being far out in the ocean with her surf instructor, who she calls “super ferry” due to his ability to guide her to safety in any situation, when she noticed her instructor's face had gone pale. She asked what was wrong and her instructor, in an effort to not scare her, said nothing. However, Roxy looked underwater and sure enough, there was a shark.
Roxy’s passions all came together when she discovered the Architecture and Interior Design program at UCLA. The program combined everything she had been interested in from a young age like geography, evolution, and art.
The transition to fashion came naturally to Roxy. As someone who had a great interest in evolution, the evolution of clothing was right up Roxy’s alley. As Roxy’s brand as a model grew, she decided to step into the fashion world by creating her own brand that incorporates characteristics from architecture, interior design, evolution, and art in a way to help self-expression.
LoveRoxy is set to launch soon, with an initial line of cocktail wear. Roxy’s mission with her designs is to help women discover different parts of themselves by empowering them to feel sexy and confident in their skin. She hopes to continue growing the brand in the future with lingerie, daytime wear, and more.
As a powerful woman who has conquered everything from modeling and motherhood, to traveling and escaping sharks, Roxy is definitely set for success with LoveRoxy. This clothing brand is a culmination of Roxy’s life experience, mission, and passion, and it will not disappoint.
