What have been some of your personal highlights as a content creator? What made you decide that you wanted to pursue a career as a content creator?
When I started creating content, I did not know it would be my career. It was a hobby of mine for the longest time but once I started seeing the fast growth, the joy it brought me, opportunities, and all of the ways I could turn it into a career. I decided this would be my full-time job. Lucky for me it has never felt like a job as this is truly my passion and I am constantly having innovative ideas on ways I can expand, grow, and evolve as a creator and a role model online.
Every milestone has been so meaningful for my online community as well as celebrating in person with my friends and family. Hitting one million subscribers was a lifelong dream for me so that was 100% a memory I will never forget. Another Core highlight was releasing my collections with en route and ardene. The launches were so personal and meaningful, and I was blessed to meet my supporters in person!
How would you describe your personal style? How does it encompass who you are as a person and what makes it unique?
I think my personal style can vary depending on the type of mood I am in or depending on the time of day. When it is bright out my personal style is colorful, fun, and flirty! I love wearing bright or pastel colors and pieces that really flatter my body shape. Wearing dresses makes me feel confident as they are very feminine and just overall give a very pretty and put together look which I love. At night on the other hand, I love dressing a little chicer, wearing darker colors and embracing a more alluring style. In either case I love picking out pieces that symbolize my confidence, bubbly personality, and charm!
What are some tips you have for becoming “that girl”, or the best version of yourself? How do you translate these tips into your everyday life?
My best tip when starting off, is to visualize what your “highest self” looks like and really pinpointing exactly what that person does, what activities they do in their free time, what kind of food they eat, what kind of friends they have, what their goals are, etc. Once you have this image in your head you can start acting like that person and everything you do in your day-to-day life will be intentional with that ideal version of yourself in mind. Once you start incorporating habits into your life or trying out a new routine that really works for you and sticks, it is hard to go back to your old ways as you know how good this new lifestyle makes you feel! It can be a little challenging sticking with a new lifestyle, but consistency is key, and overtime will just become your new default. This “best version of yourself” can also look completely different depending on who you are and that is also okay as long as it works for you and keeps you healthy and happy, I think that's the goal we should strive for! I do this myself by constantly refreshing my mind on what my goals are, who I want to be, and what I want to achieve.
How do you use your platform to inspire people and spread positivity? How do you stay true to yourself in making your content?
I am on my own personal journey to becoming the best version of myself and I am committed to that idea. People really love to see others authentically living their life and as I am naturally quite a happy and optimistic person, that all is transparent through my content. It really inspires others and now with my podcast ‘A Better you’ I am able to further dive deeper into topics that my supporters need advice on and give them my words of encouragement! I know that by being myself I can help many people, so I continue to stay true to that value no matter what piece of content I create.
What are your plans for the future? Is anything exciting coming up? Or where do you envision your career in the next couple of years?
In the future, I hope to continue my journey of content creation for as long as I can, sharing all aspects of myself and the ups and downs that come along with that. It is so special to have an audience that is invested in your growth so for that reason I will keep creating content no matter what I grow into. I want to continue to develop my podcast and that brand as a whole and have some exciting products and plans I am hoping to launch before the end of this year. I hope to create a strong community and overall empire where we can show up for each other not only online, but potentially IRL too at events created by the brand! I am very open minded and creative so I have many ideas I am willing to try and for that I would love to grow a strong team around me to help these visions come into fruition and also become a better leader and entrepreneur myself.
